Thing #20

For this discovery exercise I explored the website: www.imcooked.com
The home page explains it all:
Cook It (prepare your favorite meals & have fun doing it)
Film It (Become a star and record yourself cooking your masterpiece)
Share It (Easily share your videos with everyone, public or private)
I watched: Sweet Chicken Strips being prepared to the music of Motley Cure's Kickstart my Heart, which was interesting. My favorite video was of Confetti Cakes demonstrating how to make a sculpted dog cake. She made it look so easy!
My granddaughter and I like to bake together and we sometimes pretend we're doing a cooking show, but we have never recorded ourselves. It would be fun to make a video for ourselves, but I would not want to share it with the world.
This site was fun to look at, but I don't think I would use it in the library setting.

I can’t imagine a cooking show done to Motley Crue’s Kickstart My Heart. That just sounds too funny.

If you and your grandaughter like to cook together you might get a kick out of Spatulatta - it's a kids' cooking site with videos!
